Caerphilly County Borough Council - Transfer for Abstraction
Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003)
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006 that an application has been made to Natural Resources Wales by Caerphilly County Borough Council for a licence to abstract water from Nant Carn Brook at National Grid Reference ST 22182 93494 for the purpose of transferring it to the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal at National Grid Reference ST 21963 93015, at the following rates and periods: 406.67 cubic metres and hour, 9,760 cubic metres a day and 1,190,720 cubic metres a year, between 1 March and 31 October inclusive in each year.
The water will be abstracted for the purpose of transferring it between the sources of supply referred to above without intervening use.
